What is the Younique Pay Plan? 

The Younique Pay Plan outlines how you earn commissions and advance in Title through personal sales and team development. It offers a simple and transparent structure, giving you two ways to earn: 

  1. Retail Pay – Earn based on your Personal Retail Sales (known as PRS, which is earned through your customer and personal purchases).  
  2. Team Pay – Earned based on building and mentoring a team (earned as a percentage of the PRS generated by your team up to three levels). 

In addition to the Pay Plan, there are opportunities to qualify for additional rewards through programs like Fast Start, the Bonus Pool, and Title Rewards.

When do I get paid?  

You are paid in two ways: 

  1. Instant Pay: A 20% commission on your Personal Retail Sales (PRS), which is paid three hours after the transaction. This is paid out regardless of the Title you earn in the month, so long as you remain an active Brand Ambassador or Brand Affiliate. 
  2. Month-End Pay: Any additional Pay you qualify for throughout the month, such as Tiered Retail Pay above the 20% base and any Team Pay you qualify for. These earnings are paid on the eighth of the following month.  

All Pay is deposited through PayQuicker, and funds can then be used through a PayQuicker card or transferred to your personal banking account. To receive your PayQuicker invite, you must submit your required tax information via the Younique App as outlined in the Market Specific Policies section of the Independent Brand Ambassador and Brand Affiliate Agreements.

What are Personal Retail Sales (PRS)? 

Personal Retail Sales (PRS) is Younique’s way of measuring sales in all markets, based on product prices in USD. PRS is a combination of your personal sales and your customers’ purchases. For details on how PRS is calculated in other markets, please utilize the Pay Rules and Global Business Guide.


Additionally, it is important to note that shipping costs, sales tax, product credit, discounts, and business supply purchases are not commissionable and do not count toward your PRS. 

 

For example: 

  1. If your customer orders $100 USD worth of product, you earn 100 PRS. 
  2. If you order $100 USD worth of product but use $10 in Product Credit during checkout, you will earn 90 PRS. 

 

PRS is used to determine your Pay and Title eligibility, and helps you remain an active Brand Ambassador or Brand Affiliate with Younique.  

 

While your PRS resets on the first of every month, Lifetime PRS (the total you've earned over time) continues to grow as long as you're with Younique. However, please note there are currently no rewards or incentives tied to your Lifetime PRS.  



What is Retail Pay? 

Retail Pay is the commission you earn from your Personal Retail Sales (PRS). There are five earning tiers, and the more you sell each month, the more you earn. Your monthly PRS resets on the first of each month.  

 

Every Brand Affiliate and Brand Ambassador starts at the first earning tier, at 20% as Instant Retail Pay on all PRS. This base commission is deposited into your PayQuicker account three hours after a sale is made through your personal Younique website. 

 

As you continue to accumulate PRS throughout the month, you unlock additional commissions. Any earnings above the base 20% will be included in your Month-End Pay, which is paid on the eighth of the following month.  

 

Here are the PRS requirements for each tier of Retail Pay:

For example, if you earn 550 PRS in June: 

  1. You’ll receive 20% Instant Pay on each sale, paid three hours after each transaction. 
  2. After June finalizes, you’ll receive an additional 5% on all 550 PRS in your Month-End Pay on July 8, bringing your total Retail Pay to 25% for the month. 

 

What determines my Title? 

Your Title is based on the combination of: 

  1. Your Monthly PRS (the combination of your personal orders and customer purchases in a given month) 
  2. Your Monthly Title Sales (your Monthly PRS plus your First Level Team Sales) 

 

Brand Ambassadors and Brand Affiliates share the same Title structure and requirements. Titles reset monthly, so you’ll need to requalify each month to be paid at the same Title. 

Your recognized Title—the one displayed publicly on your account—will reflect the highest Title you've achieved during your time with Younique. 



What is Monthly Title Sales? 

Monthly Title Sales is the combination of: 

  1. Your Monthly PRS (from your own purchases and your customers’ orders) 
  2. Your monthly First-Level Team Sales (those you personally sponsored or who rolled up to you) 

 

It is used to determine your achieved Title for the month.  

 

Brand Affiliates accumulate Monthly Title Sales through their PRS (personal orders and their customer orders). 

 

Brand Ambassadors accumulate Monthly Title Sales through their PRS and their First Level Team Sales. 



What is Team Pay? 

Team Pay rewards you for mentoring and supporting others on your team, so only Brand Ambassadors are eligible to earn Team Pay. Brand Ambassadors can earn up to 10% on their First Level Sales, 5% on their Second Level Sales, and 4% on their Third Level Sales, depending on their achieved Pay Level for that month.  

 

Team Pay is based on PRS and is paid as part of your Month-End Pay on the eighth of the following month. 



What do First, Second, and Third Level mean in my team? 

Your downline is organized into levels based on how people are connected to you through sponsorship: 

  1. First Level: These are the Brand Ambassadors or Brand Affiliates you have personally sponsored. 
  2. Second Level: These are team members who were sponsored by someone on your first level. 
  3. Third Level: These are team members who were sponsored by someone on your second level. 

How do I earn Team Pay?  

Team Pay can be earned by Brand Specialists or above who meet their First Level Team Count requirements within a given month.  

 

This combination ensures you’ve built a strong foundation in both personal sales and team development—and from there, your Team Pay grows as you advance through higher Titles and Pay Levels. 



What is a Pay Level?  

Your Pay Level is calculated monthly and resets at the start of each new calendar month. It is based on your Team Count, which is the number of Qualified First-Level Brand Ambassadors or Brand Affiliates you have that month. 

 

Your Pay Level is complementary to your Title, and it cannot exceed the Title you achieve for that month. This ensures that as your team grows, your Team Pay potential grows with it—while still rewarding consistent personal performance. 

 

For example: 
If you achieve the Brand Specialist Title in June and have a Team Count of three, you could meet the requirement for Pay Level 2. However, since your Title is Brand Specialist (which corresponds with Pay Level 1), you will be paid at Pay Level 1. 



What is Team Count? 

Team Count refers to the number of people on your First Level who each earn at least 250 PRS in a single month. It is used to determine your eligibility for Team Pay. 

 

Please note that you and your customers do not count toward your Team Count. Only Qualified Brand Ambassadors and Affiliates on your First Level (with 250 PRS+) contribute to your count. 



Can I build a team as a Brand Affiliate? 

No. Brand Affiliates cannot enroll other Brand Affiliates or Brand Ambassadors. Brand Affiliates focus solely on selling and earning Retail Pay. They do not qualify for Team Pay or other team-based incentives. 

 

To build and earn on a team, a Brand Affiliate must switch to a Brand Ambassador by contacting Younique Compliance. 



Are there other reward programs in which a Brand Ambassador or Brand Affiliate can participate? 

In addition to Tiered Retail Pay and Team Pay, you can also earn through these programs: 

  1. Fast Start – A 90-day incentive program for new Brand Ambassadors and Affiliates (and their mentors). Read the Fast Start FAQ

  3. Title Rewards – Gifts awarded when you achieve Senior Brand Specialist or above for the first time. Read the Title Rewards FAQ
  4. Kickoff Promotion Bonus – Bonus opportunity for promoting to and maintaining new Titles under the June 2025 Pay Plan. Only available July 1, 2025–December 31, 2025.FAQ coming July 1, 2025 

 

Participation in these programs is supplemental and designed to accelerate your business growth. These programs may be modified or discontinued at any time at Younique’s discretion.

How do I maintain an active Younique Brand Ambassador or Brand Affiliate? 

To remain an active Younique Brand Ambassador or Brand Affiliate, you must achieve 250 PRS in a rolling three-month period.  



Can I earn Title Rewards by achieving a new Title for the first time? 

Yes, the first time you achieve Senior Brand Specialist and above, you can earn Title Rewards for each new title promotion. Please see the Title Rewards FAQ for more information. 



How do we, as Brand Ambassadors, differentiate Brand Affiliates from Brand Ambassadors in our downline? 

The Younique App provides custom notifications that clearly state whether a user has joined your team as a Brand Ambassador or as a Brand Affiliate. Additionally, each user's app profile will indicate whether they are a Brand Ambassador or Brand Affiliate. However, it's important to note that there is no visible icon to differentiate between Brand Ambassadors and Brand Affiliates when looking at your Team
